As per his own statement, he first came to Angami and Chakhesang areas along with Naga SABC graduates and preached in several existing Churches. There after he moved to Wokha area and conducted revival meetings in different villages and towns. He, then, moved to Churachandpur to make this town his base of ministry in 1963. Form this station he started visiting Assam, Mizoram and the region around.

Hearing about the prospective ministry in the region, Rev. C.B. Anderson came to Lakhipur, Assam and conducted Bible studies cum First Conference for the region from March 6-10, 1964. In this conference it was decided that the name of the society would be called “Assemblies of God East India” (AGEI). It paved the way for the A.G Mission to expand in Northeast India.

Vana and etc. were the key leaders to influence the people to affiliate the churches with Assemblies of God Mission. When these leaders organized the churches and supervised them, the churches started growing fast.

The fellowship became warmer and the need to join a denomination with the same doctrine Rev. Biswas abided by grew among the believers. In Rengkai, this new church was known as Revival Church under the Chairmanship of Upa V. Thanga and Mr. Awilien as the Secretary. In 1961, they had a meeting at the Mr. Lunga’s (Chief of Rengkai village) residence. The deliberation was on joining a denomination with the same doctrinal stand. In the meeting on January 12, 1961, Mr. Lamzakhup was selected as Chairman, Mr. Kapte as Secretary and Rev. Zosanglien was appointed as Evangelist.

The need for nomenclature and of affiliation led to the sitting for another meeting in May 10, 1962 at Saidan. With Upa. V. Thanga as Chairman and Mr. L. Hossan, of Rengkai, as Secretary, it was resolved that it was not good to be as they were and that they should find a Mission of the same doctrine that they believed. In the same meeting another resolution was to write to A.G. Mission, Calcutta for recognition and affiliation.

The Assemblies of God Church took its root first at Saidan Village, Manipur on July 21, 1962. People were blessed by God and were being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Such was the spiritual atmosphere at the Assembly of God church in Saidan. Revival broke out shortly. It was a humble beginning in 1962. The Lord has blessed it to be a mother church. Now there are 29 A.G. recognized churches in the surrounding region. The Assembly of God church celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2012 where Rev. Dr. Moses Murry, General Superintendent and Rev. Solomon H. Wasker were the speakers.
